East Freetown Congregational-Christian Church, located in Southeastern Massachusetts in a small town called Freetown. In 1620 the Pilgrims landed on Plymouth Rock and brought with them the idea that a congregation of believers ought to be able to rule themselves. That was the beginning of the "Congregational Way". So many changes have occurred, with renovations to the sanctuary and then the Lawrence House, that we are keeping abreast of the times. But, most of all, we are still Congregationalists going strong in our covenant.
